Privacy at Decoratieteam Callant

Decoratieteam Callant respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Belgian law.

2. Scope

This notice applies to visitors to luccallant.be and to anyone who contacts us, requests information or a quote, books an appointment, visits the showroom or is a customer, supplier or professional partner of Decoratieteam Callant.

The website and services are not directed at children. Decoratieteam Callant does not knowingly collect children's data without the involvement of a parent or legal representative.

3. Personal data we process

  • Identification and contact data such as name, email, phone number, language preference, address and any business or billing details.
  • Project data such as project type and location, preferred timing, plans, measurements, photos, material preferences, budget information, correspondence and information you choose to provide.
  • Contractual and administrative data such as quotes, orders, appointments, deliveries, invoices, payments, warranties and aftercare information.
  • Technical data such as IP address, request time, browser, device, visited pages, referrer and security or server logs.
  • Aggregated usage data through Vercel Web Analytics, including page views, country or region, device, operating system, browser and referrer.

4. Sources

Most data comes directly from you by email, phone, in the showroom, during an appointment or through the contact form. Technical data arises through website use. For a quote or project, Decoratieteam Callant may also receive data from an architect, contractor, supplier, professional partner or public source.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Decoratieteam Callant does not sell or rent personal data.

6. Website, analytics, cookies and external content

The website is hosted by Vercel. Hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request data to deliver pages, monitor performance and prevent abuse.

Vercel Web Analytics measures page views without advertising cookies. According to Vercel, statistics are aggregated by default, are not associated with a person or IP address and do not track visitors across different websites or days.

The contact page embeds Google Maps. When the map loads, Google may receive technical data and use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn links lead to external services whose privacy terms apply when visited.

7. Recipients and processors

  • Decoratieteam Callant staff and appointees who need the data for their work.
  • Hosting, analytics, email, IT and website providers, including Vercel.
  • Suppliers, subcontractors, installers, architects or project partners where required for a quote or project.
  • Accountants, insurers, banks and professional advisers.
  • Public, regulatory or judicial authorities where required by law or to protect rights.

Recipients only receive data necessary for their task. Processors must comply with appropriate confidentiality, security and data protection obligations.

8. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some technology providers, including Vercel and Google, may process data outside the EEA. Transfers rely on an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful mechanism, with supplementary safeguards where required.

9. Retention

  • Unsuccessful enquiries and quotes are generally kept for no more than two years after the last meaningful contact, unless longer retention is needed for a dispute or requested by you.
  • Customer, contract, invoice and accounting data is retained during performance and for applicable statutory tax, accounting and liability periods.
  • Security logs are kept only as long as necessary for security and incident investigation. Aggregated analytics follows Vercel's configured retention periods.
  • After expiry, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised unless further retention is legally required or necessary for legal claims.

10. Your rights

  • Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, a copy, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data.
  • You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where consent is the basis.
  • Decoratieteam Callant does not make decisions with legal effects based solely on automated processing and does not create advertising profiles.
  • Send a request to the address below. To prevent abuse, Decoratieteam Callant may request reasonable information to confirm your identity. A response is generally provided within one month; the statutory period may be extended for a complex request.

11. Security and breaches

Decoratieteam Callant applies appropriate technical and organisational measures, including limited access, secure connections, supplier management and reasonable backup and security procedures. No system is absolutely secure. Personal data breaches are handled under applicable notification and information duties.

12. External websites

Decoratieteam Callant is not responsible for external website content or privacy practices. Review their notices before providing personal data.

13. Changes

This notice may change when the website, services, providers or law changes. The latest version appears here with its date. Material changes will be communicated separately where appropriate.
